If you are currently in year 9 at school, you have an exciting opportunity to join St Helens College 14-16 Academy to complete year 10 and year 11.

You will attend St Helens College 14-16 Academy on a full-time basis, for two years. You will study core GCSEs alongside your chosen industry pathway. These pathways will contain two vocational qualifications that are equivalent to GCSEs.

Vocational/BTEC qualifications are career and employment related with a more practical focus and relate your learning to the world of work.

They are qualifications designed in collaboration with industry, and equip you with the skills and knowledge that employers are looking for. They will also help you to determine which route to take when you progress on to further education at the end of year 11. Whichever route you decide to choose, we will support and guide you every step of the way.

Don’t worry about making the change from school, you’ll meet lots of new friends and will receive support from your teachers!
