This course has various start dates throughout the year. You will attend one evening per week and the course will take 8 weeks to complete.

This course will take place at our Town Centre Campus, Water Street, St Helens, WA10 1PP.

What will I study?

During this course, you will learn the art of silversmithing using a variety of techniques, tools and equipment, whilst making items such as rings, pendants, brooches, ear rings, chains etc.

Students with some previous experience of jewellery making will be able to make functional or sculptural objects of their choice working with the tutor to enhance the design making and decorating process.

All students will be able to take their final pieces home with them.

How is it assessed?

There is no formal assessment. You will be given feedback based on your progress with suggestions and guidance for areas for improvement.

As with all our leisure courses the main emphasis is to come along and enjoy the course!
