Microsoft Word 2016 Level 2 Intermediate

This course provides you with a comprehensive review of Microsoft Word basics while adding more features, functions and data handling techniques. The course is designed for computer users who use Microsoft Word on a regular basis. You will become more proactive when producing word processing documents, while using a wide range of customary tools to design the perfect document.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course has flexible start dates. You will attend college for one afternoon.

If required, we are able to set discrete dates for employers upon request.

What will I study?

During the course, you will cover the following:

  • Quick review of basic topics
  • Working with sections and columns
  • Advance paragraph formatting
  • Working with tables
  • Using styles and auto text
  • Using headers and footers
  • Creating an automatic table of contents
  • Working with external data
  • Working with graphics
  • Introduction to templates.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

Ideally, you should have completed the Microsoft Word 2016 level 1 Fundamentals course or have equivalent knowledge. It is not suitable as an introduction for people who have little or no experience with this software.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Upon completion of this course, you will have the opportunity to progress onto Microsoft Word level 3 Advanced course to further develop your knowledge.
