Our Town Centre and STEM Centre campuses are less than a 10-minute walk from the central bus station and train stations linking to public bus routes across Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

The nearest bus station is located in St Helens Town Centre between the Hardshaw Centre and Bickerstaffe Street and is a 5 minute walk from the Town Centre Campus and a 10 minute walk from the STEM Centre, Technology Campus.

Getting here by bus

We provide a FREE Arriva bus pass for the whole academic year, which you can use every weekday during term time, including evenings. The bus pass is available to all 16-18 year old St Helens College students, on a full-time course.

New for 2017! St Helens College has introduced a dedicated, free bus service on three key routes, covering Maghull, Kirkby, Leigh, Ashton-in-Makerfield and South Liverpool. To access the free bus service, you will need to show your student ID badge when getting on the bus. This ID badge will be given to you when you come into College to enrol with us.
