Whether you are considering a new career, want to get back into work or if you are looking to learn for fun, St Helens College has a course for you starting in the next few weeks.
On Monday 31 March between 5.30pm and 7.00pm adults are invited to drop into the College to find out more about what exciting full and part-time courses are available and starting soon.
From beginners courses in Digital Photography to programmes in Business Administration, there are a wide variety of courses on offer with flexible start dates throughout the year to fit around your needs. There is also the opportunity to gain qualifications such as ITQ and Food Safety.
ITQ Level 1 student, Barbara Mullacrane says, “Having recently been made redundant, I returned to St Helens College to improve on my computing skills. I have been pleasantly surprised with the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that you can study at your own pace. I feel that the course has helped to improve my skills and helped with my confidence. The tutors have been very helpful. On-site facilities are very good.”
Business Administration Level 1 and 2 student, Vanessa Groves says, “The Business Administration course not only provided me with the skills and knowledge required to secure a job but also the confidence too. I haven’t been in employment since the birth of my son and the course really helped me to make the step back into education and employment. My tutor Pam was excellent; she was always more than happy to help and made the course really enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend the college enough. I’m now looking forward to a career in Business and Administration thanks to St Helens College.”
