game webStudents completing the level 3 Games, Animation and VFX Skills this year took part in an industry panel review of their end of year game and animation products, and have had a chance to talk to a mixture of industry veterans (such as John Dennis, Head of design at Team 17 – The makers of the Worms franchise) and people starting out at places like Creative Assembly. The panel offered praise, feedback, and advice to the students, and took questions across the course of the afternoon.

Members of the panels:

Games:

  • Jacob Holm – Creative assembly
  • John Dennis – Team 17
  • Helen West – Creative Assembly
  • Kirsten Griffin - Ubisoft

Animation:

  • Redat Abyneh – Aardman Studios
  • Luke O’Sullivan – Blue Zoo
  • Robbie Brown – Frame store

Next Gen Course Leader, Rob, said, “The industry panel is a great way to round off what has been a year filled with disruption due to Covid, and the commendation given by this panel of current industry specialists is testament to the hard work and drive to succeed the Next Gen students have shown throughout.”

Well done to all the students for their hard work and dedication throughout their time on the course!
