Description
Available to those students who have not achieved the desired grades for the Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma, students may apply to be considered for the Subsidiary Diploma to enable them to continue their studies at level 3.
What will I learn?
You will study 7 units from the level 3 suite of qualifications.
Animal feeding, Animal accommodation, Animal handling, Principles of zoological animal health and husbandry, Animal welfare and breed development, Animal behaviour and communication, and Animal health.
What are the entry requirements?
You should have 4 GCSEs in non related subjects or a level 2 animal care qualification or other vocational area achieving a minimum of Merit.
How will I be assessed?
All assessments will be assignment based, all units are graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction.
Future Opportunities?
You could progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management or into employment.
