Check out this awesome video of our Level 3 Music Technology students performing at our recent School Leaver Open Event.

The students used the performance to demonstrate the use of complex and modern technology in a performance environment. Instead of traditional instruments, they used iPads, computer software and electronic instruments. They also linked their music to visual effects which projected on screens behind them as well as creating all the marketing materials to showcase the event including posters and flyers.

The marketing campaign was a huge success too as they were lucky enough to have a special guest visit from Lyndsey Holding, Events Programmer, at the Old Courts venue in Wigan. She offered the students a fantastic opportunity to play at the venue as part of the Wigan Arts Festival in April. Watch this space!
