Our Prince’s Trust Team 87 were joined by their family and friends as they celebrated the completion of their Prince's Trust Team Programme. As part of the programme, they must complete 12 weeks of community projects, individual work placements and team building activities. Alongside this, the students also achieved a level 1 Personal Development, Teamwork and Contributing to the Community qualification which is nationally recognised by employers and the wider community.
During the presentation event, the students gave inspirational speeches about their own experiences of the programme and how they feel it has helped them to progress and develop as an individual. The students were joined by the Mayor Joe Pearson and Mayoress Sylvia Pearson. The mayor giving a very motivational speech to the students. They were also joined by Dan Cording, Prince's Trust Team Executive, who joined in the celebrations.
Many of the students are looking to progress onto apprenticeships, full-time courses at St Helens College and in to employment.
