EA VISITThis week our NextGen Games, Animation and VFX students took part in a pre-production masterclass with former EA Chillingo producer, Adam Barker.

Adam has worked on a number of renowned gaming titles including Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Tiny Trooper Alliance and many others and is currently leading the UX design at Betfred.

During Adam’s extensive session, the students worked with him to develop the pre-production stage of their synoptic project, where they are producing mischief based games for Xiotex games, in response to a live client brief as part of their level 3 Technical Diploma.

Adam will be returning later in the year, acting as a consultant for the project in the lead up to the course’s London-based showcase in June 2020.

Course Leader, Rob Hinde, commented, “Exposure to industry professionals of this calibre for students at this level is unprecedented in the sector, and Adam's involvement throughout the year will be a massive boost to the quality of the games we produce for our central London showcase later this academic year.”
