Our Animal Management department are very excited to have received a delivery of Leafcutter Ants. The Ants are settling into their temporary accommodation, whilst our staff and students create a full-time home for them, including a fungus garden and open walkways!
Fun fact Leafcutter Ants take their cut leaves back to a fungus garden, where fungus will grow over the leaves, which the ants will then eat!
