Level 3 Public and Uniformed Services are training on the sand dunes at St Anne’s beach, Lytham.

They’re carrying out circuits and bodyweight exercises to see how the body reacts to exercise on different terrains. This is a common form of training that is undertaken by the army, navy, and police force.

Learner Rep, Callum said; 'Going to the beach yesterday was a good experience for everyone. Since we’ve been stuck in college when our course involves being put out of comfort zones, everyone’s felt a bit locked up. Yesterday definitely helped with everyone’s mental health and enthusiasm for college.’
