Our Public and Uniformed Services students have been taking part in the NCS programme, hosting a number of activities and fundraising events to raise money for Amputation Foundation.

They started the programme by carrying out a litter pick around the St Helens College Town Centre Campus and surrounding areas.

They then began their fundraising activities by hosting a bake sale at the Town Centre Campus, selling a collection of cakes and biscuits to students and staff.

Their final task was a sponsored walk up Moel Famau, concluding with a boot camp fitness session at the top.

In total, the students have raised over £1,000 for the charity, which will allow them to continue assisting both amputees and also medical professionals in their work to give new amputees the best start.
