Our level 2 Travel and Tourism students raised funds for Comic Relief with a food and bake sale event!
As part of Red Nose Day celebrations, the students worked in groups to create decorations and food items to represent a country of their choice. The students were assessed on their team work, planning and organisational skills, managing their items for sale, their cash float and the flow of customers to make the event a success.
Selling items inspired by French and Brazilian cuisine, as well as sweets like cupcakes and cornflake treats, the students offered a wide selection that was well received by staff and students alike.
The students did an excellent job, and co-ordinated their efforts to raise £83 for Comic Relief: Red Nose Day!
