Our Level 3 Travel and Tourism students recently had the chance to work alongside leading Events Management company ConnectIn Events Management at the UK Community Foundations’ annual conference, held at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester!

The students were responsible for registering event delegates, helping to coordinate guest speakers, assisting event staff, and guiding guests to seminars, conferences and exhibitions across the three-day event.

Travel and Tourism Tutor, Rik, said “This was a great opportunity for the students to gain hands-on events experience, getting behind the scenes with ConnectIn, one of the UK’s leading events management companies. Events is a key module covered in their Level 3 course, so this experience has been a fantastic chance for them to put theory into practice. I had some great feedback as people left the event, complimenting the students and thanking them for their help.”
