Our Public and Uniformed Services students recently had the exciting opportunity to explore the incredible training facilities at Fleetwood Nautical Campus in Blackpool, the UK’s top nautical establishment.
The students were put through their paces as they took part in real-life training scenarios, using their deck simulator to learn how to control a vessel at sea during difficult weather conditions, as well as fire rescue, sea survival and emergency drill training learning how to correctly evacuate a vessel in an emergency situation.
Such a fantastic experience for our students to gain invaluable skills that they can take with them into their future careers.
