Staff and students from our Public and Uniformed Services department recently enjoyed their annual end-of-year presentation evening at our Colours Fine Dining Restaurant, where the department looked back at all the amazing things the students have experienced and achieved over the last academic year.

To celebrate their hard work, awards were given to students across all levels, recognising them for academic achievement, practical achievement, inspirational student awards, and the highly anticipated student of the year award.

In honour of past students, special memorial awards were given in dedication to David Ward and Chris Prytherech, who sadly lost their lives. Another award was dedicated to Darren Mason, brother of our Public and Uniformed Services tutor Chris, who sadly passed away last year due to Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, a type of bowel cancer.

It was recognised that the students had progressed leaps and bounds, with some students achieving distinction grades in all their units and have gone on to secure places at their chosen universities. The students also overcome personal challenges, made new friends and experienced lots of new opportunities.

Well done to all our students, we wish you all the very best of luck in your future careers in your chosen service.
