The course will start in September and will take one year to complete. You will attend College two days per week.
The course takes place at St Helens College, Town Centre Campus, Water Street, St Helens, WA10 1PP.
During this course, you will cover the following units:
You will be assessed through a combination of practical assessments, and external set written examinations.
There will be graded assessments set internally to complete each unit and an external synoptic assessment, which will be set and examined by the warding body.
You should be able to demonstrate your passion and enthusiasm for working in the industry and previous experience within a hairdressing salon is desirable but not essential.

Students who complete this course are eligible to become a graduate State Registered Hairdresser (SRH) with The Hairdressing Council.
