This course is designed for those who want to pursue a career within plumbing and heating.
You will explore everything from plumbing installations to gaining an understanding of low-carbon technology and renewable energy.
The course will start in September and will take one year to complete. You will attend College two evenings per week, from 6.00pm – 9.00pm.
The course takes place at our Green Energy Skills Centre, Langtree Street, St Helens WA9 1AR.
During this course, you will cover the following:
In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to gain some work experience within the construction industry.
During this course, you’ll be assessed through an end of year exam and practical synoptic exercise.
You should have successfully achieved a level 1 Plumbing qualification or have achieved a grade 4 or above in English and maths.

Upon successful completion of this course, you could enhance your skills and knowledge by undertaking a level 3 course or alternatively, you could secure an apprenticeship to gain on-the-job skills and experience.
