You will benefit
You’ll be working in our recording studio, live recording area and a dedicated Mac suite using state-of-the-art equipment such as mixing desks and samplers including industry standard computer software such as such as Cubase, Reason and Ableton Live.
Our tutors have worked in the music industry for many years, creating their own record labels and music for TV advertisements, winning gold and playing at some of the most famous music festivals across the world. You can be confident in knowing that you are learning from the experts.
You will succeed
We have a great partnership with Jamm Studios, a local recording studio that has worked with some big names in the industry. This gives our students amazing collaboration opportunities on music projects.
Many of our students have access to valuable work experience with music and arts festivals such as Liverpool Sound City.
You will stand out
Once you have finished your qualification, your career opportunities are wide and varied. Whether you want to work in music publishing, at a record label, on live events, as a tour manager, producer, engineer or in sound or lighting, our music course provides a great stepping stone. You may even decide to continue your studies at a higher level by studying for a degree in music, this could be at University Centre St Helens or at another university.
