Free Recruitment Service

Picture of a piece of people with speech marks above their headWe offer a free recruitment and matching service to all employers that are looking to add apprentices to their business. This involves pre-screening candidates to ensure you find a suitable individual based on your needs.

The recruitment process involves an initial discussion to identify your requirements. We will then require a job description that outlines the specifications required to perform the role and check this adheres to the chosen apprenticeship standard.

Your apprenticeship vacancy will be passed to our apprenticeship recruitment team, who will handle all aspects of the recruitment for the role including advertising the role via the ‘Find Apprenticeships’ website and across our social media channels. We will require that you set up a Digital Apprenticeship Service account and add St Helens College as a training provider to enable permissions for the College to advertise your apprenticeship vacancy.

If required, we can also help to arrange interviews and notify candidates of times and schedules.

You’ll also have access to a host of talent within our own pool of suitable students, who have already had an initial interview and are apprenticeship ready.
