You don’t need to wait until a vacancy is advertised to look for an apprenticeship. By calling or writing to a company, you can sometimes find the hidden opportunities. Make sure you have a stand out CV to impress! Although you may be waiting for your GCSE results, start applying for apprenticeships over the summer – don’t wait until September. This will give you a head start on the process, and employers may offer you work experience, which could lead to an apprenticeship.
