SCIENCE Level 3National Foundation Diploma Applied Science What will I study? This one-year course provides a strong introduction to scientific theory, whilst supporting you to develop practical and transferable skills, to enable you to progress on to the level 3ExtendedDiploma inApplied Science. Based in our laboratories, youwill gain insight from industry expert tutorswhilst undertaking a variety of investigative projects and practical tasks such as chemical analysis, where youwill synthesise and analyse aspirin. What will I need? You should have four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, maths and science. Progression You could progress on to the level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science.
