We are working in partnership with the University of Liverpool and First Ark to deliver an exciting pre-apprenticeship programme!
Key Information
This is a 6-month programme and there are only 13 exclusive places available, which will range across a wide variety of departments at the University of Liverpool and First Ark such as human resources, teaching laboratories, IT, security, finance and academic faculty.
Entry Criteria
You must be aged 16-17 and have achieved GCSE grades 2 or 3 (D, E or F) in your English and maths.
What to Expect
Successful applicants will spend one day a week at College, based at Knowsley Community College's Main Campus, working towards achieving a level 1 or level 2 qualification in functional skills plus a certificate in employability, and the remaining four days will be based in the workplace.
Benefits
You will earn £152.25 per week including 12 paid holidays and bank holidays, and also a free travel pass for either the bus or train.
You will also be entitled to full College support such as a free breakfast and a free Microsoft Office 365 package.
