Donate WebUniversity Centre St Helens FdA and BA (Hons) Social Policy, Health and Housing students are supporting local charity Hope House this winter. Hope House is a day centre for homeless people and those at risk of homelessness in the local area, providing a basic needs and personal care service. Aiming to move service users towards independence, by supporting them to reach their personal goals, current students are collecting a range of items to donate to the charity, with the final collection taking place on 11th December 2018.

If you would like to support the students and Hope House, you can donate any of the items below in either the St Helens College Town Centre Reception or at the St Helens College Library. Degree students will be available to take your donation from you on 11th December 2018, with any of the following items, suitable for adults, gratefully received:

  • Underwear, vests and socks (male and female)
  • Scarves, Gloves and hats
  • Preloved good condition items, such as t-shirts, jumpers and coats
  • One use items (toothbrush, combs, first aid items)
  • Long life food items (e.g. tinned food, pasta, rice)

All donations are much appreciated and a representative from Hope House will visit on 11th December, to collect the items.
