Our Level 3 Public and Uniformed Services students recently took a trip to Whernside Mountain as part of their land-based activities unit.

In addition to completing a mountain walk, students had to demonstrate that they were prepared for the trip by working in teams and exercising their organisational, physical, and communication skills.

Some students also used radios to monitor the progress of other groups. As a final task the students had to evaluate and review the trip.

If you’re interested in a career in the Public or Uniformed Services, find out more about our courses here.
