Chris O’KeeffeProgramme Leader for FdSc Exercise, Health and Fitness

Biography

Chris O’Keeffe is the Programme Leader for the foundation degree in Exercise, Health and Fitness. As an enthusiastic lecturer, Chris has a keen interest in exercise and health from a personal aspect but also from a public health perspective. For the past 18 years, he has worked within a health and fitness setting both in and out of a teaching capacity.

  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • Advanced Level Fitness instructor

Research interests

Chris’s personal research and interest lies in exercise science with specific reference to resistance training.
