Our Travel and Tourism students learn all about different cultures and customs, the various roles within the industry and develop customer service skills to provide a first class customer experience in their future careers. Our students have gone on to secure careers as Cabin Crew, Holiday Representatives, Travel Agents and more with some of the world’s top airlines, airports and travel companies, while others have gone on to study at university.

You'll benefit

Airport operations staff, cabin crew and holiday representatives play a very important role in the delivery of the customer experience, so you'll be learning all about different cultures, customs and aviation operations to provide a first class experience.

Many of our students take part in exciting trips and visits both in the UK and abroad, to check out tourist hotspots, top destinations, attractions and the headquarters of corporate holiday providers, such as Expedia and Eurocamp.

Previous students have even had the opportunity to learn Mandarin alongside their course, to help prepare them for the world of work.

You'll succeed

Locally, the travel and tourism industry is thriving, with a real emphasis on the visitor economy and expansion of both Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport. Visitor numbers and travel opportunities will increase further with the Superport development and Liverpool becoming a recognised cruise ship terminal.

We have great industry links and our students have gone on to secure jobs with British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Qantas, Thomas Cook, Jet2.com, Swissport, Manchester Airport and many more.

You'll stand out

Once on board with us, you will stand out from the crowd in our uniform, worn to professional standards whilst training in our first class facilities, all to help you reach your career destination.
