Last week we celebrated the success of our level 2 Cabin Crew students, who gained their wings and will soon jet off on the adventure of a lifetime and begin their careers.

During a busy week of in-flight assessments in our mock aircraft cabin, the students demonstrated the skills they have gained in every aspect of flight operations, from boarding and safety demonstrations to customer service and hospitality.

In celebration of the students' achievements, our Travel and Tourism department held their own 'Wings Graduation Ceremony'. Joined by family and friends at our onsite Colours Restaurant, students collected their certificates and wings badges.

Following what has been a difficult two years for the Travel and Tourism industry, our students have shown resilience, determination and an unfaltering dedication to their course and are a true credit to the department.

All students have successfully secured full-time, permanent employment with Jet2 and will embark on a 4-week intensive training programme over the coming weeks.

Proud tutor, Richard King, said: "The Cabin Crew trainees make me proud every year and this year is no exception. They have all worked incredibly hard and shown true dedication. I wish them all the best for their future careers as cabin crew."

We were also thrilled to hear from previous student, Heléna, from last year’s Cabin Crew cohort, who also received her wings with TUI last week.

In a lovely message to tutor Richard, she said: “I’ve got my wings! Wouldn’t have been possible without your help. Thank you so much for everything.”
