Our Catering and Hospitality students had the amazing opportunity to cater for the official launch of Glass Futures’ £54m Global Centre of Excellence in St Helens last week.
Over 100 guests attended the event, which brought together Glass Futures members from around the world including glass manufacturers and university academics with funders and local politicians.
Guests enjoyed a drinks reception at The World Of Glass Museum with lunch prepared and served by our very own students before guests headed to the new facility for a tour.
This was a significant event for our borough and one of which our students were proud to be a key part of.
