Paul Machin, co-founder of the award winning 'Redmen TV', came into College to inspire our Creative Media and Computing and IT students. Paul spoke to the students about how the fan owned podcast and streaming service was started, including the different roles they have within their team . Creative Media student, Libby also had the opportunity to interview Paul for a documentary she is working on about the rise of women's football, as part of her Documentary Making unit. 17 Students raisedmore than £1,000 for charity, Amputation Foundation following a collection of activities and fundraising events as part of the National Citizen Service programme. The activities included a litter pick around the College campus and town centre, a bake sale, a sponsored walk up Moel Famau and a boot camp fitness session at the top of the hill. PUBLIC AND UNIFORMED SERVICES STUDENTS FUNDRAISE FOR AMPUTATION FOUNDATION 4 STUDENTS ACHIEVE FIRST AID QUALIFICATION Early Years students recently completed Paediatric First Aid training with Daisy First Aid. They covered the essential elements of children's first aid, including how to spot signs and symptoms of illness, the recovery position and choking. All students passed the training and will now be able to add this to their CV! 16
