ART AND DESIGN STUDENTS SHOWCASE THEIR ARTISTIC TALENTS Art and Design students conducted an interactive, live demonstration in our Knowsley Main Campus foyer. The students used a variety of drawing techniques and tools to create unique pieces, whilst encouraging other students to get involved. They also exhibited their work, including their impressive visual diaries! Our Painting and Decorating department received a donation of over 125 litres of Crown Trade paint products from the St Helens Crown Decorating Centre. This generous donation will support students and apprentices to broaden their skillset, whilst developing their knowledge of the latest paint products. OVER 125 LITRES OF PAINT DONATED 19 STUDENTS GO BEHIND THE SCENES AT SHAKESPEARE NORTH PLAYHOUSE Construction students went on an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot. The Shakespeare North Playhouse is an extraordinary 470-seat theatre, modelled on a cockpit-in-court theatre, designed by celebrated architect, Inigo Jones in the 17th century. Leading construction firm, Kier, gave the students a guided tour of the site as it neared completion. 18
