Develop your technical, artistic and programming skills, working on exciting projects and collaborating with local and regional employers, studying material designed by industry leaders including Ubisoft, Sony, Framestore, Blue Zoo and Double Negative.

Our experienced lecturers and tutors have previously worked with global companies on popular AAA game titles and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and industry links with you.
With this, you will have the opportunity to work on live briefs with local employers to build your work portfolio, receive masterclasses with visiting industry practitioners and gain a first-hand insight of this exciting and diverse industry.
By using industry standard software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, Mudbox and AfterEffects, you will gain a competitive advantage over others when entering the industry.

The Northwest is an important centre for the game development industry and we have links with local industry, located centrally in a region that has a cluster of games companies.
In the last three years, graduates from our degree course have gained employment with Rebellion and Sony in Liverpool, Travellers' Tales in Knutsford and TT Fusion in Wilmslow.
