Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Please read the below guidance carefully, and only select "Yes", if the guidance applies to yourself.

EHCP Guidance

This guidance refers specifically to an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), a formal legal document issued by your Local Education Authority (LEA) that outlines long-term individual support needs across education, health, and care for children and young people up to the age of 25.

If you have received additional support in school and currently have an EHCP in place, the College requires a copy of your most up-to-date plan. You should contact your local authority to request this as soon as you apply.

Once we receive your EHCP, the College will carry out an assessment to determine whether we can meet your support needs. Please note that we are unable to fully process your application until we have received this document.

An EHCP is not the same as general support you may have received in school, such as help from a teacher or teaching assistant. It is a formal plan that must be issued by your LEA.
