Travelling to College

Getting to St Helens College and Knowsley Community College is easier than ever.

Our St Helens College Town Centre, STEM Centre, Green Energy Skills Centre and Knowsley Community College campuses are well connected to public transport networks, with bus and rail links providing easy access from across Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire. The Town Centre and STEM Centre campuses are also less than a 10-minute walk from St Helens Central bus and rail stations.

16-18 Students

Every student, aged 16-18, on a full-time course receives a FREE* Merseytravel Solo bus pass.

You can plan your route to College by visiting www.merseytravel.gov.uk/.

If you need to order a replacement bus pass, you can do this through our Online Shop. Simply visit sales.sthelens.ac.uk to order your replacement.

*All students must provide a completed bursary form and provide relevant evidence.

19+ Students 

If you are aged 19+, you may be eligible to receive financial support for travel costs. This could be a free bus pass, a discounted bus pass or help with travel expenses. 

Eligibility is dependent upon individual circumstances and guidance can be offered at enrolment.
