This qualification is ideal if you have management responsibilities but no formal training, and would like to develop your skills. It is particularly suited to practising team leaders wanting to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change or other pressures.

The course will start in January and will take 16 weeks to complete. You will attend College on a Monday, 10.00am – 3.00pm.

This course will take place at our Town Centre Campus, Water Street, St Helens, WA10 1PP.

You will study a variety of areas including communication, working with people, providing direction and leadership, and getting results – from problem-solving to planning and monitoring workloads.

The course is assessed through a range of methods, including practical and written activities that you will be supported with in your sessions.

You should have a Level 2 in Leadership and Management or an equivalent qualification.

The course fee is £634. This is a full cost course meaning that there are no fee discounts available.

Upon successful completion of this course, you may wish to progress on to a further management course.
