This inspiring course will develop your culinary flair and provide you with a range of Asian recipes, allowing you to develop culinary skills by experimenting with fresh local produce and exploring quick and versatile methods to cook mouth-watering dishes.

The course will explore the tools required for specific culinary tasks and provide you with an understanding of the ingredients and methods required to prepare, cook and finish a selection of classic, modern and street food dishes dishes from Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.

This course is due to start on Tuesday 28th April 2026. You will attend college on Tuesday evening from 6.00pm – 9.00pm, for four weeks.

This course will take place at our Town Centre Campus, Water Street, St Helens, WA10 1PP.

The course will explore the tools required for specific culinary tasks and provide you with an understanding of the ingredients and methods required to prepare, cook and finish a selection of gourmet dishes of southeast Asia.

There is no formal assessment. You will be given feedback based on your progress with suggestions and guidance for areas for improvement.

As with all our leisure courses, the main emphasis is to come and enjoy!

There are no formal entry requirements. The course is suitable for all levels of ability.

You will need to wear strong, flat sensible shoes and bring along an apron, tea towel, and an oven glove.

Please bring along a container to take what you have made home with you.

The total cost of this course is £130. This is a full cost course meaning that there are no fee discounts available.

The course price is inclusive of all the ingredients that you will need for each session.

You may wish to progress onto an accredited qualification in this subject, which will allow you to practice your skills in the industry.
