Double triumph for College at Liverpool City Region Adult Education Awards

We are delighted to share the incredible achievements of our adult students at this year’s Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Adult Learning Awards, hosted by Realise at The Florrie, Liverpool.

The Liverpool City Region Adult Education Awards celebrates students’ accomplishments and self-development and are a unique opportunity for students across the region to be recognised.

Several of our remarkable students were shortlisted across a range of categories with the prestigious ‘Adult Student of the Year’ award being presented to GCSE English student, Sophie for Knowsley Community College and GCSE English and maths student, Louise for St Helens College.

In addition to this double win, Matthew (GCSE English) and Debbie (Poetry for Wellbeing) were highly commended, while ESOL students, Saeede and Qasim were shortlisted for ‘Progression in Learning’.

Proud Tutor, Ande, who saw two of his students win awards, said:

“It has been an absolute pleasure to nominate and support these remarkable individuals. Their achievements highlight the transformative power of adult education and the impact it can have. Well done to all our students; your success is very well deserved and an inspiration to us all.”
