The College recently welcomed renewable energy specialists, Zenith Eco Solutions to the Green Energy Skills Centre, after they generously donated a brand-new heat pump to enhance students’ knowledge of renewable energy and the development of essential skills in preparation for careers in this growing sector.
Zenith Eco Solutions, who aim to improve Britain’s emissions by installing energy-saving measures in domestic properties throughout the UK, kindly donated this impressive piece of kit to support our learners as the landscape of the plumbing and heating industry moves to more sustainable appliances.
Heat pumps are innovative systems that extract heat from the environment—air, ground, or water—to provide efficient heating and cooling. With costs ranging from £7,000 to £13,000, they are crucial in reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable living. The heat pump will be an invaluable training tool for our students!
