Through this course, you will study both the theory and practical aspects of motor vehicle inspection.
You will be maintaining engine systems, repairing and replacing various vehicle tyres, carrying out wheel alignment and inspecting steering suspension components.
We will also support you to find work experience with local automotive companies.
The course will start in September and will take one year to complete.
This course will take place at our STEM Centre Campus, Pocket Nook Street, St Helens, WA9 1TT.

You should have 3 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English and/or maths, and/or a relevant level 1 qualification.
Achieving a good standard of English and maths is a key requirement for many jobs, as well as for courses you may wish to progress on to. If you achieve below a grade 4 in your English and maths GCSEs at school, you will study it alongside your course when you join us.
Upon completion of this course, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills, knowledge and experience by progressing on to an apprenticeship or alternatively, you may wish to enter the automotive industry and gain employment as an inspection technician.
