We understand that attending a busy Open Event isn’t always easy for every learner. That’s why we offer small group tours specifically for students who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or who may feel too anxious to attend our main Open Events.

These tours are designed to take place after our main Open Events, as we strongly encourage all learners to attend those first if they are able to. College is naturally a lively and busy place, and when learners come to enrol it can feel overwhelming if they haven’t experienced that environment before. By attending a main Open Event, even if this means arriving a little earlier, around 30 minutes before the official start time when it is usually quieter learners have the chance to experience what college life feels like in a more realistic setting. This helps them begin to build confidence in managing busier spaces, which is an important part of preparing for the transition to college.

During the event, you will:

  • Tour the college facilities
  • Meet our Learning Support Team to find out how we can support your individual needs.
  • Hear from our Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team about the help and guidance available to keep you safe and supported throughout your time at college.
  • Have the chance to ask questions in a calm, welcoming environment.

If you would like to attend a small group tour, please complete the form below so we can arrange your visit.
