Graduation Award Nominations

Outstanding Achievement Award Nomination Critera:

  • Gone the extra mile during their studies,
  • Achieved significant accomplishments outside of their academic work, or
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial flair that has benefitted the University or a local organisation, for example, through collaboration with local businesses or charities.

The Brian Dean Memorial Award Nomination Critera:

  • A student who has shown outstanding dedication to lifelong learning in the fields of:
    • Management
    • Science or;
    • Engineering.

The Microbiology Award Nomination Critera:

  • Established in 2021, this undergraduate Microbiology Award recognises those who, despite challenges and adversity, have persevered to succeed academically, also taking into consideration voluntary, community or social group activity involving microbiological or other scientific work. Dr John Kerry, Consultant Microbiologist and former University Centre St Helens graduate, will present the award of £250 to the nominated graduate from FdSc Applied Microbiology.
