We were delighted to welcome Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, and Anthony Burns, Leader of St Helens Borough Council, to our Green Energy Skills Centre.
The visit showcased the significant investment in our state-of-the-art facilities, including solar thermal training bays and our renewable energy training home, and highlighted how employers, students, and apprentices are benefitting from the latest green energy technologies.
One of the day’s highlights? The Mayor tried his hand at soldering after a demonstration from Level 2 student Jacob-and earned top marks from the students!
