We are proud to announce that they have been awarded the Investors in Diversity Silver accreditation from the National Centre for Diversity. This recognition underscores the College’s commitment to fostering equality, diversity, and inclusivity within their organisation.

Silver is the second of the three stages in the Investors in Diversity accreditation, which recognises an organisation’s commitment to build an inclusive culture by following the FREDIE values of Fairness, Respect, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement.

A key highlight from the report stated that staff and students feel “a sense of community cohesion and connection with others in the organisation” and that “diversity is respected.”

Mohammed Ramzan, Vice Principal for Quality and Student Experience at the College, said:

“We are delighted to receive the Investors in Diversity Silver accreditation. This achievement reflects our dedication to implementing effective practices that nurture a diverse community, where everyone feels valued and can thrive.”

He added:

“We will remain steadfast in our mission to promote inclusivity and celebrate diversity as we continue on our journey to achieve the gold accreditation.”

Solat Chaudhry, Chief Executive of the National Centre for Diversity, commented:

“We are delighted that the College have achieved Investors in Diversity Silver, and I would like to extend our congratulations to their leaders, staff service users and colleagues on their success to date.”

The College will continue to work collaboratively to implement best practices, develop further training opportunities, and create supportive pathways for all individuals within the College’s community.
