This course is perfect for those who want to turn their personal interest and enthusiasm for beauty into a professional career as a beauty therapist.
You should enjoy working with people, in a team environment and individually, and understand the important of working professionally to achieve excellent standards of work and customer service.
Learners will work with each other in class and clients in our commercial salon, to provide beauty treatments as part of training and assessment.
This course will start in September and will take one year to complete. You will attend College two days per week, from 9.00am – 4.00pm.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in trips, competitions and sessions with inspirational and motivational speakers from industry and product companies.
You will be assessed by practical observation, oral questions, audio-visual media and written assignments.
You do not need any prior experience or formal qualifications to join this course, however a keen interest in to the industry is essential.

Upon successful completion of this course, you could have the opportunity to progress on to the level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, or further your training in a specific area such as Nail Technology.
