This course starts in September and will take one year to complete. You will attend College on either a Tuesday or Thursday.
This course takes place at St Helens College, Town Centre Campus, St Helens, WA10 1PP.
To achieve this qualification, the following units will be completed:
Assessment is by internal assessment and internal and external moderation. A counselling skills practice assessment will be undertaken by the tutor.
Students will have completed the level 2 Certificate in Counselling Concepts or equivalent. Before places are offered, applicants will be interviewed to determine their suitability to undertake this training.

If you are aged 19 or over, you may be able to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover your course fees. An Advanced Learner Loan enables you to study now, pay later. Loan eligibility is not dependent on income or employment status and there is no credit check. Loan repayments do not start until you have finished your course and earn over £25,000 per year.
