This course is ideal for those who have valid experience in the health and social care sector and are looking to formalise their work with a qualification.
The course will allow you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for career progression within adult care.
This course has flexible start dates and will take up to two years to complete.
Attendance at College is not required, as the qualification is delivered within the workplace. You will be assigned a tutor/assessor at the beginning of the course, who will work with you throughout the programme.

This course is assessed in a variety of ways including observations, assignments, questions and answers, presentations, case studies and assessments. The majority of assessment will be work-based, using real experiences, written assessments and observations, case studies and presentations.
This is dependent on your level of experience and the employment title you currently hold. You should have a level 3 qualification in a relevant area, however, you will receive initial advice and guidance with an assessor upon application or enquiry.
The total cost of this course is £2,882.
If you are aged 19 or over, you could also choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover your course fees enabling you to study now, pay later. Loan eligibility is not dependent on income or employment status and there is no credit check. Loan repayments do not start until you have finished your course and earn over £27,295 per year.
