Recognising business support staff ‘College Champions’

For the second-year running, we were proud to host the Champions in our Colleges celebration event, in partnership with UNISON, which recognises business support staff in further education and the important work they do.

Staff across the College nominated their fellow colleagues for both an individual ‘College Champion’ award and ‘Support Staff Team’ award, which culminated in a ecelebration event.

Ryan Done, Senior IT Technician and the IT Team won both awards and were presented with certificates and prizes by Unison Representative, Paula Carlyle and Principal, Simon Pierce.

All nominees were also presented with a certificate including Adele Boan (MIS Timetabling Officer), Jane Baugh (Learning Assistant), Jeanette Birch (Senior Barista/Catering Assistant), Kieron Potter (Student Finance Manager), Ian Wilde (Systems Administrator), the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team and the MIS and Exams Team.

Well done to everyone!
