We were pleased to welcome students from across the borough for our annual Healthcare & STEM Skills Show as part of National Careers Week 2026. The students had the opportunity to explore our wide range of exhibition material and to hear from industry-leading guest speakers who highlighted the exciting careers and opportunities within the healthcare and STEM sectors.

Held at our Knowsley College Main Campus, the event allowed students, along with pupils from De La Salle and St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School, to take part in hands on workshops. These included performing dissections on lungs and hearts, interactive demonstrations of electrocardiograms and many other activities.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the exhibitors who joined us. These included our internal exhibitors of Health & Social Care, Sports, Early Years, Engineering and Animal Management and our external exhibitors, Medical Mavericks, My Mindful Memory, St Helens Sexual Health, Microbiology Department Mersey West Lancs NHS, Change Grow Live, Knowsley Culture Service, Liverpool Heart and Chest NHS, Merseyside Police and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
