Students from our Creative Arts department, including Game Art and Animation and Content Creation, have recently completed a series of masterclasses with artist Larry Achiampong in partnership with Heart of Glass.

Throughout the series Larry created hands‑on spaces for students to explore gaming and storytelling. He set up gaming stations that encouraged students to play, analyse and discuss different game environments, and each session ended with group conversations that produced thoughtful insights and creative ideas.

The series left students, tutors and guests feeling inspired by the ideas and discussions that developed along the way.

Each student received a copy of Larry’s book with an extra copy donated to our library collection.

📸 Here are a few highlights from the final session.
